• Hurricane Helene Storm Updates

    UPDATE: Thursday, Sept. 26, 1:30 p.m.
    Get updates on Hurricane Helene and its potential impact to Lenoir-Rhyne locations in Hickory, Asheville and Columbia. Be prepared for possible weather emergencies, keep devices fully charged, check safety conditions before travel and register for Rave Alerts if you are not already registered. 

    • Thursday, Sept. 26 - There are no changes to any events or classes today. The Visiting Writers Series Mary Roach event scheduled for 7 p.m. in P.E. Monroe Auditorium will take place as scheduled. 
    • Friday, Sept. 27 - Reduce operations at the Hickory, Columbia and Asheville locations. There will be no face-to-face classes on campus. Employees should plan to work remotely. The Family Weekend schedule has changed with no events on Friday. Family Weekend check-in and registration has now moved to Saturday (no schedule changes for Saturday or Sunday).
    • Saturday, Sept. 28 - We expect to resume normal campus operations.
